Getting on to Installing a Shower

If you happen to be planning to get on installing a shower on your bedroom for your convenience or maybe you are renovating the house or building one, the shower products that Mark E Industries have are more than welcome. 

In order to get started on installing a shower, we recommend that you have the following equipment with you to get yourself started. For one, you would need a Pre Pitch to begin installing the shower. This is a guide for you to make sure that you are leveling the ground where you would be laying out the tiles. This will make sure that if in case that the water seeps in between the tiles and the floor, no water is pooled to encourage mold and mildew. One of the primary things that has to be done in this process is this.

Next, you would need a Kirb Perfect so that you can create the perfect closing around your shower floor. This is to make sure that water is not going to spill out but is actually controlled inside of the room you intended for the shower. It will enclose the whole space for the shower and make sure that there won’t be nails puncturing the inlay of your tiles. 

Once this is done, the next step in installing a shower would be to put a Weep Protector on the proposed drain where the water would go. A weep is settled unto the ground so that if in case that the drain overflows a bit because of too much water running down, it won’t collect patches or pools underneath but will still go down the drain. In case the drain “weeps,” it will ensure that the water is still directed to the drain. 

As soon as the weep is in place, you put on the Quick Pitch that would be the main structure to follow when you finally cement and level the shower floor. You install it much like the pre pitch and it does the same thing. Only this time, you are now placing the guides and cement before laying down the tiles. Installing a shower like this is the best way to do it.
